email not sending on submitted listings

hi

when a user submits a listing, the listing gets submitted fine but an error shows on the page and an email does not get sent out to the user specified in the "form to submit a place" menu item.

Error that shows on the page: You must provide at least one recipient email address.

Have you enter a valid email in your moderator email ?

My screenshot did not upload. I will try explain it better

- I created a menu item "form to submit a place"
- In "choose a layout" section of that menu item I clicked "select user" next to "Select un moderator" and chose a user to recieve the submit from my user list.
- I tried 2 different users but still got the error

Have you enter a valid email in your moderator email ?


I never actually entered an email address, instead I selected a user for moderator, I cant find anywhere to add an email address besides choosing a user.

The email address must be write in the parameters of the contact => Joomla / components / contacts

Hi thank you for the reply, im still getting the error "You must provide at least one recipient email address."

my steps: in joomla / components / contacts I selected a contact, linked that contact to the user called administrator, then in contact details - email I added an email for that contact.

I then retured to the menu item "form to submit a place" and under "Choose a layout - Select un moderator" I clicked the button "select user" and selected the user called administrator. Note: I was not given the option to select a user from my joomla / components / contacts list, I was only shown contacts from my sites registered user list.

Am i missing somthing?
